Transit Idea Exchange: A Community Collaboration

SacRT launched a new series of Transit Idea Exchange Workshops designed to engage community members in discussions examining transit’s impact on our daily lives — and we want your voice at the table.

SacRT is hosting workshops in neighborhoods across the Sacramento region. These interactive events are your chance to share ideas, ask questions, and help shape a transit system that works for everyone — whether you ride every day or not at all.

Your input matters. Join the conversation and help us design the future of mobility in our region.

Next Workshop in Elk Grove:

Tuesday, August 19, 2025
6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.)

RSVP by emailing Marketing@sacrt.com or through our online Google Form.

Future Workshop:

South Natomas – Workshop coming soon
We’re planning a workshop in South Natomas. Details will be announced as soon as they’re available.

Also happening now: SacRT is conducting a Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) — a detailed review of current transit services to help update both our Short Range and Long Range Transit Plans. While the Idea Exchange Workshops focus on big-picture conversations about transit’s role in daily life, the COA takes a closer look at how our routes and services operate. Learn more at sacrt.com/COA.
