SacRT Pre-Paid Ticket & Pass Exchange Coming Soon!

This year, SacRT is working towards transitioning our passengers to Connect Card and ZipPass. Those looking to exchange their current, unvalidated Basic and Discount single fare paper tickets or daily passes (June 30, 2019 expiration date) will receive fare equivalent loaded onto a Connect Card or ZipPass rather than receiving new paper tickets.

Expect to hear more information in March about the kick-off for an early ticket exchange that will begin on Monday, April 1, in order to provide better customer service and help transition customers to Connect Card and ZipPass. There may be some exceptions for paper ticket exchanges, but they will have a one year expiration date to coincide with the implementation of new fare vending machines. More information on the exchange will be available in the coming weeks.
