Ride RT to the Sacramento Republic FC Game - Saturday, February 28

Ride light rail to the Sacramento Republic FC match on Saturday, February 28. RT offers convenient service on the Blue Line to the City College Station, just steps from Hughes Stadium.

RT will add extra trips departing the City College Station after the game. Additional evening light rail trips will operate on the Blue Line and Gold Line (highlighted in yellow) on Saturday, February 28:

Fans that need to travel east on the Gold Line will need to exit the train at the 16th Street Station and transfer to a Gold Line train marked “Sunrise” or “Folsom.”

Before boarding the train, make sure that you have a valid ticket or pass. Tickets and passes can be purchased in advance at RT’s Customer Service and Sales Center at 1225 R Street (adjacent to the 13th Street light rail station) or at retail sales outlets.

Validate your pre-paid ticket or pass – or purchase a ticket or pass – at the fare vending machine located on the station platform.

Basic Daily Pass (unlimited rides for the day): $6
Basic Monthly Pass (unlimited rides for the month): $100

Always be alert in light rail stations and look both ways before crossing the tracks. Another train may be approaching in the opposite direction.

Be careful when using headphones and personal electronic devices (phones, tablets and mp3 players), which can be a distraction.

  • Be aware of your surroundings

  • Avoid carrying unnecessary items

  • Hold purses, briefcases and personal electronic devices close to your body

  • Carry your wallet and keys in your front pocket

  • Leave valuables at home
