"Blue & Gold"
Line Light Rail Transfers
The "Blue Line" will run from Meadowview Road to Watt/I-80 as part of the new light rail regional configuration. The Folsom or "Gold Line" runs from Historic Folsom to Downtown at the Cathedral Square station and will eventually continue on to the Amtrak Station. Transfers between the two lines will take place between and including 16th Street Station and Cathedral Square. "Blue Line" passengers wishing to travel toward the Historic Folsom Station will need to transfer to the "Gold Line" at or before the 16th Street Station. "Gold Line" passengers traveling to the South Sacramento area can board the "Blue Line" at any station between 16th Street and Watt/I-80.
