RT’s New General Manager/CEO Connects with the Community Through Online Chat

Since October 2008, Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT) passengers have had the opportunity to speak directly to RT’s General Manager/CEO, through an online question and answer period.
The GM chat, which occurs on the first Friday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. at sacrt.com, will be continued by Henry Li, RT’s new General Manager/CEO. It gives the public an opportunity to interact directly with Li, submit their transit-related questions and receive immediate feedback.
“The online chat provides another opportunity for me to communicate with our riders. It is a way for me to keep them informed of ongoing changes at RT and receive their feedback as to how we are doing and what concerns them,” Li said.
Sessions typically cover current events, projects and RT’s key initiatives, which are Transit Service Delivery, Service to the Golden One Center, Communication, Accountability and Fiscal Management. No registration is required to participate and questions will be accepted two hours before the session, up to the conclusion of the chat. The next chat is scheduled for Friday, August 5.
