POSTPONED – Service Changes begin Sunday, April 5, Routes 11, 21, 23, 30, 51X, 56, 75, 78, 93, 128 and 138
April 2020 service changes scheduled to on Sunday, April 5, have been postponed until further notice. The previous plan included adjustments to routes 11, 21, 23, 30, 51X, 56, 75, 78, 93. In addition, SacRT is postponing the launch of new bus route 128 (Sunrise Express), which was scheduled to start service on Monday, April 27. Causeway Connection will launch April 6 as scheduled.
Effective, Sunday, April 5, 2020, SacRT will implement the following service changes:
Route 11: Natomas/Land Park (Monday through Friday)
To improve on-time performance, all trip times will be adjusted.
Route 21: Sunrise (Monday through Friday)
A new trip will leave Sunrise Mall Transit Center at 5:40 a.m. and arrive at the Mather Field/Mills light rail station at 6:11 a.m.
Route 23: El Camino (Monday through Friday)
To improve on-time performance and connections at the Arden Del Paso light rail station, time will be added to the morning peak schedule.
Route 30: J Street (Saturday)
Saturday service frequency will increase from every 60 minutes to every 30 minutes all
Route 51X: Downtown Shuttle/Broadway/Golden 1 Center
Route 51X will only operate on days there is an event at the Golden 1 Center. Regular Monday through Friday service will be canceled.
Route 56: Meadowview (Monday through Friday)
To improve on-time performance, time will be added to the schedule in both directions.
Route 75: Mather (7 days a week)
Route 75 will be separated into two routes serving the same area as the current Route 75. The new Route 75 will operate east of the Mather Field/Mills light rail station. The new Route 78 will operate on the portion of the current Route 75 that operates between Butterfield and Mather Field/Mills light rail stations.
Route 78: Butterfield (7 days a week)
This new route will serve the portion of the current Route 75 that operates between Butterfield and Mather Field/Mills light rail stations.
Route 93: Hillsdale (7 days a week)
This route will be re-rerouted between Roseville Road and Andrea Boulevard to serve Diablo Drive instead of Tupelo Drive.
Route 128: Sunrise Express (Monday through Friday)
Effective Monday, April 27, the new Route 128 Sunrise Express will provide peak only service between Orangevale, Fair Oaks, the Sunrise light rail station and Rancho Cordova, ending at the Mather Field/Mills light rail station.
Route 138: Causeway Connection (Monday through Friday)
The new Route 138 Causeway Connection will provide weekday service between the UC Davis campus and the UC Davis Medical Center.
