Rider Alert: Gold Line Bus Bridge in Folsom Weekend of June 28–29, 2025 

A bus bridge (shuttle bus between stations) will be in place on the Gold Line between Sunrise Station and Historic Folsom Station on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, 2025, to accommodate construction work on the Folsom 15-Minute Service project. 

During this time, light rail trains will only operate between Sunrise Station and Sacramento Valley Station. Riders traveling to or from Iron Point, Hazel, Glenn/Robert G. Holderness or Historic Folsom stations will need to use shuttle buses. 

Why the interruption? 
The contractor on the Folsom 15-Minute project is completing the installation of fiber converters in equipment along the rail line — work that couldn’t be finished before service resumed earlier this year.

  • First Bus at Historic Folsom Station: 7:29 a.m. 
  • Last Bus at Historic Folsom Station: 10:59 p.m. 
  • First Bus at Sunrise Station: 7:05 a.m. 
  • Last Bus at Sunrise Station: 11:05 p.m. 

Sunday, June 29, 2025: 

  • First Bus at Historic Folsom Station: 9:59 a.m. 
  • Last Bus at Historic Folsom Station: 9:29 p.m. 
  • First Bus at Sunrise LR Station: 9:35 a.m.
