Effective Monday, January 5, 2026, SacRT will implement bus route changes to improve on time performance. The bus routes include 21, 26, 84, 86, 105, 134, 142, 205 and 206. Riders are encouraged to click the links below to view the new schedule for each route or call 916-321-BUSS (2877).
Route 21: Sunrise (Weekdays):

To Louis/Orlando: Up to four minutes of travel time will be added to certain morning and evening trips. As a result, some arrival and departure times will shift to maintain transfers with the Gold Line and bus routes 72, 75 and 78.
To Mather Field/Mills: Up to eight minutes of travel time will be added to certain morning and evening trips. As a result, some arrival and departure times will shift to maintain transfers with the Gold Line and bus routes 72, 75 and 78.
Route 26: Fulton (Weekdays):
To Watt/Elverta: Up to eight minutes of travel time will be added to certain morning and evening trips. As a result, some arrival and departure times will shift.
To 65th Light Rail: Up to six minutes of travel time will be added to certain morning and evening trips. As a result, some arrival and departure times will shift.
Route 84: Watt (Weekdays):
To Watt/Elverta: Up to six minutes of travel time will be added to certain morning and evening trips. As a result, some arrival and departure times will shift.
To Watt/Manlove: Up to five minutes of travel time will be added to certain morning and evening trips. As a result, some arrival and departure times will shift.
Route 86: Grand (Weekdays):
To Marconi/ Arcade: Up to four minutes of travel time will be added from the J &11th to San Juan & Truxel. As a result, departure times from J & 11th will shift. In addition, the 8:32 p.m. and 9:32 p.m. trips from Marconi/Arcade will shift to depart two minutes earlier at 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
To J & 11th: Up to two minutes of travel time will be added to certain trips on the evening route. As a result, evening arrival and departure times will shift.
Route 105: Elsie (Weekdays):
To Florin High: An additional nine minutes of travel time will be added to the morning trip; however, the trip will maintain the 8:10 a.m. arrival time at Florin High.
To Meadowview: An additional five minutes of travel time will be added to the afternoon trip; however, the trip will maintain the 3:40 p.m. departure time from Florin High.
Route 134: McKinley (Weekdays):
To CSUS: An additional four minutes of travel time will be added to the route segment between CSUS and the end of the evening trip.
Route 142: Airport Express (Weekdays):
To Sac Int’l Airport: Certain trips during the afternoon peak commute time will depart L & 14th three minutes earlier.
To Downtown: An additional three minutes of travel time will be added to certain trips in the midday and evening.
Route 205: Fruitridge (Weekdays):
To Land Park & Vallejo: An additional three minutes of travel time will be added to certain trips due to increased traffic congestion on Land Park Drive.
Route 206: 12th Ave (Weekdays):
To Land Park & Vallejo: An additional three minutes of travel time will be added to certain trips due to increased traffic congestion on Land Park Drive.
