Ride Natomas-North Sacramento SmaRT Ride for FREE during October 2022
Jibe is sponsoring all microtransit rides in the Natomas-North Sacramento zone
In honor of California Clean Air Day, North Natomas Jibe is paying for all rides on the Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) SmaRT Ride microtransit shuttles that serve the Natomas-North Sacramento zone during the entire month of October 2022.
To ride free, SmaRT Ride customers in the Natomas-North Sacramento zone simply need to request a ride and get onboard between Saturday, October 1 and Monday, October 31, 2022. The service operates weekdays, Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
“Transportation is the single biggest source of air pollution in California. Our free ride promotion with Jibe, for people living and working in the Natomas-North Sacramento SmaRT Ride zone, is a great way to reduce congestion and help clear our air,” said SacRT General Manager/CEO Henry Li.
Becky Heieck, Executive Director of North Natomas Jibe stated, “We’re pleased to provide SmaRT Ride shuttle service for free in our service area in October. SmaRT Ride is growing in popularity in North Natomas, and offering free rides in October will help more businesses, their customers and employees, and our residents get there car-free.”
SmaRT Ride is a ride share service that operates on-demand with flexible routing and scheduling. The community shuttle provides corner-to-corner service, picking you up and dropping you off anywhere within a designated service area. SacRT has nine different SmaRT Ride service zones. In honor of California Clean Air Day on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, SacRT is also offering systemwide free rides on all bus, light rail and SacRT GO paratransit services for the first week of October 2022, from Saturday, October 1 through Friday, October 7.
