The plan centers on equity as a foundational commitment and embedding equity-driven tactics into departmental workplans to ensure transit services meaningfully reach and benefit historically underserved communities, while advancing regional sustainability, economic development, and shared prosperity. Detailed information on our efforts to provide equitable services can be found within SacRT’s Short-Range Transit Plan, Long-Range Transit Plan, and Title VI Program documents.

Strategic Plan Scorecard

The strategic plan includes a comprehensive performance scorecard that SacRT management and division leaders monitor and report on to track projects and programs of strategic importance. The performance scorecard is comprised of metrics that are significant to the quest for service excellence and value to taxpayers and which tie directly to the four strategic priority areas: Operational Excellence, Community Value, Employee Engagement, and Customer Satisfaction. With the scorecard, all members of the workforce can see how their efforts support the success of the entire agency.
