Bike to Work Day: May 9!

May is Bike Month’s Bike to Work Day is on Thursday, May 9, 2019. A SacRT cyclist welcome breakfast will be held at the Engineering Gazebo from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Employees are encouraged to cycle to the Capitol Bike Fest, which begins at 11 a.m. this year.

Capitol Bike Fest

Description Join Capitol Bike Fest on the West Lawn of the State Capitol from 11 a.m.  to 1 p.m. to celebrate May is Bike Month! New and seasoned bicyclists including families, young adults, and commuters from across the region and of all abilities are invited to attend the festivities. Make sure to pedal by for a great event with local bike shops and clubs, non-profit fundraiser bike rides, and more.

Participants who present their log sheet showing their current miles recorded for May is Bike Month either by phone or printed copy will receive a May is Bike Month t-shirt.
