Elk Grove Transit Fares
On Thursday, July 1, 2021, e-tran and e-van services annexed into SacRT. The current e-tran and e-van fares will remain the same at this time.

All Pass Sales are Final
Once a pass is sold, no refunds will be provided. Any unused, lost, destroyed, or stolen passes will not be replaced or refunded. Exchanges can only be made on defective passes at the SacRT’s discretion.
All passengers (ages 5-61 years old) pay Basic fare unless eligible for Discount fare.
Requires certain forms of identification (ID) or age verification as follows:
Seniors (age 62+)
Seniors/Persons with e-van Eligibility Card, SacRT Senior photo ID card, Medicare card, State of California ID card, Senior ID card issued by another transit agency, or a passport showing date of birth.
Persons with Disabilities (with physical and/or mental impairments)
Senior/Persons with Disabilities Discount Card, SacRT Disabled photo ID card, Dept. of Motor Vehicles Disabled Placard ID card, Medicare Card or Disabled ID card issued by another transit agency. Attendants of persons with disabilities may ride for Discount fare with a passenger who has a SacRT Disabled card or any ID listed above.
Students (Grades TK-12)
Beginning Thursday, July 1, 2021, SacRT will allow students/youth in grades TK-12 to ride free as part of the RydeFreeRT program for Elk Grove Transit fixed-route buses.

Persons requesting the discounted fare will need to present an Armed Service’s picture identification.

Children under age 5
Up to two children ride free when accompanied by an adult paying passenger. Student fares apply for additional children. Students in grades TK-12th may qualify for fare-free transit with the RydeFreeRT program. Visit rydefreert.com to learn more.
Los Rios Community College District student access card, CSU Sacramento One Card, City of Elk Grove employee or dependent ID card or RT employee or dependent ID card may ride free provided that the card and sticker is current. All participating passes are subject to change at the discretion of SacRT.
Elk Grove Transfers
Issued only when boarding buses and are $0.50. Transfers are valid for 120 minutes and may only be used once. They must be surrendered to the bus operator upon boarding another route or the end of the time limit.
Exact change is required since bus operators do not carry or give change.
Elk Grove Passes
Unlimited Monthly Passes
Valid for 31 days from the first use. Unlimited Elk Grove 31 day passes are only valid on SacRT routes with an “E” designation prior to the route number.
Local Monthly Passes
Valid for 31 days from the first use. Local Elk Grove 31 day passes are only valid on routes E110-E116.
Elk Grove only Daily Passes
Valid for unlimited rides routes designated with an “E” prefix until 1.a.m. the day after purchase or validation. Please obtain a transfer, if transferring to other SacRT services
Valid for 10 trips on any route with an “E” prefix, with no expiration date. 10-Ride Passes are available for purchase any time. Please obtain a transfer, if transferring to other SacRT services,
Paper Daily Passes
Must be surrendered to bus operator. For prepaid daily pass users, passenger will receive a stamped SacRT daily pass valid for the day redeemed.
In addition to the Elk Grove passes, routes designated with an “E” prefix will also accept all SacRT tickets and passes, including mobile tickets and light rail passes (transfer fee applies on light rail single ride ticket).
Passes can be purchased at the following locations within Elk Grove and Sacramento.

- SacRT – 1225 R Street, adjacent from the 13th Street light rail Station, Sacramento
