SmaRT Ride On-Demand Shuttle Now Available in Nine Communities

The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is holding a press conference to celebrate the launch of its popular on-demand microtransit service into six new communities. The service called SmaRT Ride is now available in nine zones across the Sacramento region.

When: Thursday, January 23, 2020 3:00 p.m.

Where: Carmichael Public Library 5605 Marconi Avenue

Who: Henry Li, SacRT General Manager/CEO
Congressman Ami Bera (CA District 7) Steve Hansen, SacRT Board Chair and Sacramento City Councilmember
Susan Peters, Sacramento County Supervisor and STA Board Director

The new service zones include:

  • Arden
  • Carmichael
  • Downtown–Midtown–East Sacramento
  • Folsom
  • Gerber–Calvine
  • North Sacramento
