FISCAL YEAR 2023 PRELIMINARY BUDGET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) will hold a public hearing on SacRT’s Fiscal Year 2023 Preliminary Operating and Capital Budget. The public hearing will be held at 5:30 P.M. on May 9, 2022 and in compliance with directives of the County, State, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this meeting is streamed live and members of the public cannot attend in person, but will be able to participate virtually during the meeting or may submit written comments before the public meeting.
The following is a list of SacRT’s Proposed Program of Projects and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Allocations: Section 5307 Urbanized Area Program Jobs Access/Reverse Commute Operating Assistance $1,106,565; Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program $250,000; Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act $3,931,489; Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) $29,445,608; American Rescue Plan (ARP) $27,140,791. These amounts are subject to change pending actions taken by the Board of Directors prior to the public hearing.
At the May 9, 2022 hearing, SacRT will provide an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to make their views known with respect to the social, economic and environmental aspects of these projects. Members of the public are encouraged to participate virtually by logging in at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85470828545 or phoning in at 1-253-215-8782 Webinar ID: 854 7082 8545 on the date and time of the public hearing noted hereinabove or they may submit written public comments relating to this item by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the Board meeting at Boardcomments@sacrt.com. Comments submitted will be read to the Board during the public hearing. Members of the public submitting written comments are asked to place the Item Number in the subject line of your correspondence and comments are limited to 250 words or less.

SacRT intends to adopt its budget and the FTA Program of Projects at the SacRT Board meeting scheduled for June 13, 2022, at 5:30 pm, which will also be held virtually. If the proposed FTA Program of Projects is significantly revised or amended, a subsequent notice will be published.
