Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink
November 6, 2025 – January 19, 2026
Presented by Dignity Health, the Ice Rink returns to Ali Youssefi Square with festive fun for all ages! Visit during special event days for crafts, silent discos, and meet your favorite princesses and superheroes.
Getting There on SacRT:
The Ice Rink is conveniently located near the Cathedral Square Station (11th & K and 10th & K stations) on the Blue and Gold light rail lines and is also served by several downtown bus routes.
Ride SacRT and Save!
Take the Blue or Gold light rail lines or any downtown bus route to the rink and show your same-day SacRT ticket or pass to receive $2 off admission to the ice rink.

Theatre of Lights
Experience the magic of the holidays with the Theatre of Lights, a spectacular live-action retelling of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas with dazzling lighting, sound, and special effects. This free, family-friendly show takes place in the heart of the Old Sacramento Waterfront and is a must-see holiday tradition.
Getting There is Easy with SacRT
Avoid traffic and parking — ride SacRT into downtown Sacramento with a short walk to the Old Sacramento Waterfront.
Gold Line From Folsom/Rancho Cordova/Rosemont
- Exit at the 8th & K Station.*
- Board at the 7th & Capitol Station.
Blue Line From Citrus Heights/Roseville
- Exit at 10th & K Station.*
- Board at 9th & K Station after the event.
Blue Line From South Sacramento/Elk Grove
- Exit at 9th & K Station.*
- Board at 7th & Capitol Station after the event.
*Direction of travel in downtown is different for exiting and boarding trains.

Riding SacRT to your favorite holiday events is easy and affordable! You can pay your fare in several convenient ways:
- Use the ZipPass app or Transit Connect app to purchase and activate your fare right from your smartphone.
- Tap and Ride with a Connect Card or contactless credit/debit card on buses or at stations.
- Cash and paper tickets are accepted on buses and at light rail station fare vending machines.
- Discounted fares are available for seniors, youth, and persons with disabilities.
