Celebrate Pride Weekend with fast, easy, and stress free travel on SacRT! The Sacramento Pride Festival takes place Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, 2026, with the Pride March happening Sunday morning on Capitol Mall.

Complimentary Rides on Sunday, June 14
SacRT is proud to support the Pride March! Riders can travel fare-free on Sunday, June 14 by presenting a SacRT complimentary ride flyer to the operator on bus or fare inspector on light rail. Flyers are available through participating Pride organizers and community partners.
Getting to Capitol Mall by Light Rail
- SacRT light rail drops you just steps from the festival and march route.
From Folsom, Rancho Cordova, or Rosemont
- Exit at 8th & Capitol for the closest access to Capitol Mall.
- After the festival, board at 7th & Capitol for your return trip.
From Citrus Heights or Roseville (Blue Line)
- Exit at 9th & Capitol for quick access to the event.
- After the festival, return from 9th & K.
From South Sacramento/Elk Grove (Blue Line
- Exit at 7th & Capitol for Capitol Mall.
- After the event, board at 7th & Capitol or 9th & K depending on train direction.
Please note: Downtown light rail operates on one way streets, so your return trip station will be different from where you exit.
Bus Service to Sacramento Pride
Several SacRT bus routes serve downtown and connect to Capitol Mall within a short walk.
Common nearby stops include:
- L Street / Capitol Mall corridor
- J Street stops near 7th, 8th, and 9th Streets
Plan ahead, as some streets may be closed during the Sunday march.
Park-and-Ride Lots
Make your trip even easier by starting from one of SacRT’s 22 free park-and-ride lots (note: Cosumnes River College charges $2/day).
- Overnight parking is not allowed.
- Park only in designated areas.
- SacRT is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
