Ride Fare-Free on the 2025 SacRT Holiday Bus
Spreading Cheer While Supporting Local Youth & Families
Celebrate the season with SacRT’s festive Holiday Bus — and ride for FREE while supporting a great cause! This year, we’re proud to partner with Stanford Sierra Youth & Families, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and families to overcome challenges and thrive.
The goal of offering a fare-free ride on this year’s Holiday Bus is to help raise awareness for the vital work Stanford Sierra Youth & Families is doing across the Sacramento region — from foster care and adoption services to mental health support and family stabilization.
About the SacRT Holiday Bus
The SacRT Holiday Bus travels on a different route every day between Monday, December 1, 2025, through Friday, January 2, 2026. It is free to ride; however, riders can choose to donate in the farebox or scan a QR code on board to donate directly to Stanford Sierra Youth & Families, to pay it forward. See the schedule below.

About Stanford Sierra Youth & Families
Stanford Sierra Youth & Families proudly celebrates 125 years of empowering youth and families to overcome challenges and thrive. Since their founding in 1900, they’ve evolved from an orphanage into a leading community-based organization providing a full continuum of care, including foster care and adoption services, behavioral and mental health support, substance use prevention, and family stabilization.
Their mission remains steadfast—to ensure every young person has the family, stability, and tools they need to build a bright and successful future.
“From our beginning as an orphanage in 1900 to our transformation into a dynamic community-based organization, Stanford Sierra Youth & Families remains committed to ensuring every young person has the family, stability, and tools they need to thrive.”
