Celebrate Earth Day with SacRT – Ride Free and Help the Planet! 

Earth Day is a time to reflect on how we can all help protect our planet. At SacRT, we’re committed to sustainability—our light rail vehicles run on 100% electricity, and most of our buses use compressed natural gas (CNG), which produces far fewer emissions than gasoline-powered vehicles or are electric-battery powered.  

This Earth Day, make a difference by choosing an eco-friendly mode of transportation! 

Ride Free on Earth Day – Tuesday, April 22, 2025 

To encourage sustainable travel, SacRT is offering free rides on all fixed-route buses and light rail on Earth Day! Simply print or screenshot the Earth Day Free Ride Flyer below and ride for free all day long.
