The City of Citrus Heights will be resurfacing Sunrise Boulevard, from Madison Avenue to Greenback Lane beginning Monday, October 14, 2024. This project will involve intermittent lane closures which will impact several bus stops along route 21 from 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. 

The resurfacing work is expected to occur between Monday, October 14 and Friday, October 18, 2024.

The impacted bus stops are listed below: 

Northbound Stops on Sunrise Boulevard: 

• Sunrise at Madison (#2801) 

• Sunrise at Alta Sunrise (#2802) 

• Sunrise at Kingswood (#2803) 

• Sunrise at Macy Plaza (#2804) 

• Sunrise at Elephant Bar (#2805) 

• Sunrise at Macys (#2806) 

Southbound Stops on Sunrise Boulevard: 

• Sunrise at Uplands (#1204) 

• Sunrise at Kingswood (#1203) 

• Sunrise at Macy Plaza (#1202) 

• Sunrise Mall at Birdcage (#1201) 

• Sunrise Mall at Birdcage (#1200) 

The alternate northbound stops are Sunrise at Wildridge (#2800) and Sunrise at Greenback (#2807). The alternative southbound stops are Sunrise at Madison (#1205) and Greenback at Arcadia (#3301).
