SacRT Invites Community to Help Reimagine Roseville Road Station Access

SACRAMENTO, CA – The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is inviting community members to attend a virtual workshop on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to share ideas for improving access to the Roseville Road Station and the surrounding area.

As part of the Reimagining Roseville Road Light Rail Station for Equitable Access project, SacRT is exploring opportunities to reopen and improve access via the Grand Avenue bridge. Community feedback will help shape future concepts for the bridge and station area that make it safer and easier for people to access the station.

Following a major fire beneath the Grand Avenue bridge in 2021, bridge access has been closed to the public. The closure reduced direct connections between neighborhoods north of the railroad tracks and the station, making access more challenging for people walking and biking.

Whether you ride light rail, live nearby, or visit the area often, SacRT wants to hear your experiences and priorities. Those unable to attend can also share input through the online survey.
