SacRT Makes Service Improvements and Adds New Bus Service on August 29

The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) announced today, it will implement several service changes to improve, add and restore bus service beginning on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

SacRT is relaunching the Airport Express (bus route 142) between downtown Sacramento and the Sacramento International Airport. The new service will operate with all new zero-emission electric battery powered buses. The service will be available every 30 minutes, seven days a week. Learn more at sacrtairport.com.

SacRT is adding a new commuter route called Sunrise Commuter (bus route 124), which will operate Monday through Friday between residential parts of Fair Oaks and Orangevale to office destinations in Rancho Cordova. It will take riders in the morning to the Sunrise Station, with service to offices in Rancho Cordova near City Hall, Kaiser Hospital, and the VA Medical Center. SacRT is also making improvements to the Rancho CordoVan shuttle service with adjustments to routes 175 and 177. In addition, schedules will be adjusted on several other bus routes, including 75, 78, 86, 88, and the Folsom Stage Line (bus route 10). Learn more at sacrt.com/september.
