Tour SacRT New Low-Floor Light Rail Vehicles at Community Event on June 12, 2024
The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is holding a second community event to showcase the new the S700 low-floor light rail vehicles. These new trains are set to roll out on the Gold and Green lines this summer.

(7th Street and Richards Boulevard, Sacramento)
The event is open to everyone to experience a sneak peek of SacRT’s new low-floor light rail trains.
Getting There:
To encourage participation, SacRT is offering FREE rides to the event with a free ride flyer available at sacrt.com/s700events. Please note that Green Line light rail service will not be available directly to the event due to the new trains being on display on the tracks. Riders can take bus route 11 to the event.

The S700 low-floor trains are set to debut on the Gold and Green lines in late summer 2024. These state-of-the-art vehicles are designed to enhance accessibility, comfort, and efficiency for all riders.
