Photo ID cards can be created for the following individuals that qualify for our Discount Fare:
- Senior age 62 and over (government issued photo ID required for proof of age).
- Individuals with disabilities; SacRT Disabled Discount Photo ID card application must be filled out by a qualifying physician listed on the application (if no other qualifying criteria/proof of disability are provided – please see the Discount Fare section of this website or call (916) 321-2877 for a list of documentation accepted).
- Students (grades K-12) must show proof of enrollment or be accompanied by a parent or guardian for a Student Photo ID card. Please be advised that students/youth 18 years old and younger can ride free on SacRT services with a valid, current-year school-issued photo ID card or RydeFreeRT card (visit rydefreert.com for more details). We recommend this SacRT issued Student Photo ID card for students who do not have a valid school ID or for older students/youth who may look older than 18 years of age.
