1. What are my transportation options after Folsom Dial-A-Ride is discontinued on August 27, 2021?

SacRT GO Paratransit Services is available for ADA complementary paratransit service and Non-ADA demand response service. All registered Folsom Dial-A-Ride customers will be automatically registered and grandfathered into SacRT GO.

SmaRT Ride microtransit service is a same-day ride-share service where customers can use a smartphone app, computer or call to request a ride that will pick up and drop off passengers within the service boundary. SmaRT Ride is open to the public.

2. What number do I call to book a trip for SacRT GO?

Please call 916-321-BUSS (2877), Option 2 then Option 2 to book a ride.

3. How do I book a trip for SmaRT Ride?

Use the SacRT SmaRT Ride App to schedule your same day trip. The app is available on the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play.

You can also use a computer at ondemand.sacrt.com or call 916-556-0100 to book a ride.

4. What will happen to my Dial-A-Ride subscription rides?

SacRT will contact you to review and confirm the transfer of your Dial-A-Ride subscription trips to SacRT GO.

5. How can I purchase fare for SacRT GO?

SacRT fare is available for purchased at the SacRT Customer Service and Sales Center at 1225 R Street, Sacramento, CA 95811 (adjacent to the 13th Street light rail Station) during business hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Fare media can be purchased by calling the SacRT Customer Service and Sales Center at 916-321-2877, Option 2 then Option 4.

Fare media can also be purchased by sending a completed order form along with a check or money order to: Sacramento Regional Transit, P.O. Box 688, Sacramento, CA 95812.

6. Can I use Connect Card on SmaRT Ride Microtransit or SacRT GO Paratransit Services?

Connect Card is accepted on SmaRT Ride; the vehicles are equipped with Connect Card readers. Connect Card fare media can be purchased online at connecttransitcard.com.

Connect Card is not available on SacRT GO Paratransit Services. SacRT is actively looking for alternative electronic fare methods for the SacRT GO service, being mindful of accessibility.

7. How far in advance can you schedule a reservation for SacRT GO?

You may call 1 to 2 days in advance to book your ride. Reservations can be made daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

8. What are the hours for SmaRT Ride?

SmaRT Ride service is available in the Folsom zone on Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

9. How early can I ride SacRT GO in Folsom?

SacRT GO service is available as early as 3:30 a.m. and as late as 12:30 a.m. depending on your origin and destination. Please call SacRT GO Reservations at 916-321-2877, Option 2 and Option 2, for your trip planning needs.

10. Can you explain the pickup window for SacRT GO?

When you call to reserve your ride, you will be given a 30-minute pickup window in which the vehicle will arrive. You will need to be ready at the beginning of your pick-up window. For example, if your negotiated “ready time” is 8:00 a.m., your 30-minute pick-up window is 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. You will need to be ready to board at 8:00 a.m. By being ready when the vehicle arrives, you help keep other trips on time.
