ZipPass App - Retiring Soon

ZipPass is SacRT's mobile app for purchasing and activating transit tickets in advance, available for iOS and Android.

Important ZipPass Updates

SacRT has launched a new mobile fare app called Transit Connect, which will replace ZipPass in 2026. Please note the following key dates: 

  • Last Day to Add Fare in ZipPass App: February 1, 2026 
  • Last Day to Use ZipPass Passes/Tickets: April 30, 2026 
  • Los Rios Students: Continue using ZipPass through May 31, 2026 
  • Yolobus Transition to Transit Connect: February/March 2026  
  • Unitrans Transition to Transit Connect: By June 2026  

    Important Information for Yolobus Riders:
    This change will not impact Yolobus passes. We will only be removing SacRT passes from the ZipPass store. Yolobus passes will remain available in ZipPass. However, passengers who currently purchase SacRT monthly passes and ride Yolobus will need to get those passes through Transit Connect going forward.

Transit Connect App

Transit Connect is SacRT’s new mobile fare app for a seamless travel experience. Users can currently purchase basic fare, discount fare and SacRT GO paratransit services fare.
