Access for All Funding Program

Expanding Access to On-Demand Transportation for People with Disabilities

SacRT is proud to serve as the Local Access Fund Administrator (LAFA) for Sacramento County under the Access for All (AFA) Program, a statewide initiative developed by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to implement Senate Bill 1376.

This program is designed to increase the availability of on-demand transportation for individuals with disabilities, including those who require wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs).

SacRT is currently holding a competitive process to award funding to eligible applicants through the Access for All grant program. The Cycle 5 Call for Projects application period is open from December 10, 2025 through January 30, 2026, and funding recommendations are anticipated to be brought to the SacRT Board of Directors in spring 2026. Full funding for this cycle is approximately $3,759,338 for a three-year service period. Please view the detailed Call for Projects for more information about requirements and how to submit proposals.
