SacAdapt: Help us prioritize strategies for transportation resilience

About SacAdapt

SacRT is partnering with the City of Sacramento on a Transportation Infrastructure Adaptation Plan, known as ‘SacAdapt’. The effort is funded by a Caltrans Adaptation Planning Grant and will guide the City and SacRT in preparing for climate impacts to our transportation system, like extreme heat, flooding and high winds.

Public Participation

SacAdapt is conducting the second phase of community engagement through October 2025. Staff will be at pop-up events throughout the community with project information. A survey is also available to share your feedback (more info below).

SacAdapt conducted its first phase of community engagement in January – February 2025. Two mobile workshops took place in late January on the light rail system. Outreach staff rode the trains with project information and surveys to engage with the public on this exciting project.
