SACRAMENTO, CA – The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) will implement service adjustments beginning Monday, June 16, 2025, to enhance safety, improve on-time performance, and better serve riders. Modifications will impact several bus routes, including Route 11, 105, and 106, and will include a temporary suspension of Green Line light rail service.
Green Line Light Rail Service – Temporarily Suspended:
Beginning on Monday, June 16th, Green Line light rail service will be temporarily suspended to accommodate major construction in the Railyards area, including the addition of a new light rail station at 7th Street and Railyards Boulevard. The temporary Green Line closure will only impact one station, 7th & Richards/Township 9, as all other stops are served by either the Blue and/or Gold lines. During the service suspension, bus route 11 will offer expanded weekday service, operating from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday to accommodate Green Line passengers. The service suspension is expected to last through summer 2026. For more information visit sacrt.com/GreenLine.
