Travel To Downtown Sacramento
Gold Line – From Folsom / Rancho Cordova / Rosemont
Take the Gold Line to the 8th & K Station and walk through DOCO to the Old Sacramento Waterfront.
Because light rail trains operate on one-way streets in downtown Sacramento, you will need to board Gold Line trains at the 7th & Capitol Station for your return trip back (check the train head sign to make sure you are boarding the correct train).
Last train to Historic Folsom Station leaves Sacramento Valley Station at 10:19 p.m.
Last train to Sunrise Station leaves at 11:29 p.m.
Blue Line – From Citrus Heights / Roseville
Take the Blue Line to the 10th & K Station and walk through DOCO to the Old Sacramento Waterfront.
Because light rail trains operate on one-way streets in downtown Sacramento, you will need to board Blue Line trains at the 9th & K Station for your return trip back.
Last train northbound to Watt/I-80 Station leaves 9th & K Station at 12:02 a.m.

Take the Blue Line to the 9th & K Station and walk through DOCO to the Old Sacramento Waterfront.

Last train southbound to Cosumnes River College Station leaves 7th & Capitol Station at 11:16 p.m.

SacRT offers 22 park-and-ride lots with a total of 10,000 free parking spaces. The exception is Cosumnes River College, which charges $2 per day.
- Overnight parking is prohibited.
- SacRT is not responsible for stolen or damaged vehicles.
- Please park in designated areas only.
- Vehicles violating posted restrictions may be towed.

Fares
SacRT offers a range of fare options to suit different needs. Plan ahead and purchase your tickets and passes in advance using SacRT’s mobile app, Transit Connect, at the App Store, or Google Play. Note: ZipPass app available through early 2026.
Discount fares are available for seniors (62+), Medicare cardholders, and persons with disabilities.

Convenient Payment Options
1. Connect Card
Enjoy the convenience of a smart card for secure, easy access across buses and light rail. The Connect Card can be loaded with tickets and passes online or at participating outlets.

Download SacRT’s free mobile fare app to set up a secure account, purchase, save, and activate tickets and passes from your smartphone. The Transit Connect app allows for easy fare management and quick boarding.

3. Cash Fare
Exact change is required when paying cash fare on buses and light rail vending machines. Operators do not provide change, and vending machines don’t accept bills larger than $20.
4. Credit Card
Most SacRT vending machines accept credit cards, allowing for easy and convenient purchase of tickets and passes.
5. Contactless Fare Payment
SacRT offers contactless fare payment with the Tap2Ride program on buses and SacRT GO paratransit vehicles.
