Cost to Ride

The cost to ride is $2.50 or $1.25 for discount eligible riders.

UC Davis undergraduate, graduate, exchange students, and employees with a valid Aggie ID card are eligible to ride the Causeway Connection for free.

Bike Lockers

For the UC Davis main campus, please contact the Bicycle Program at bikeprogram@ucdavis.edu to check on location and availability.

Elk Grove Senior Transit Pass

The City of Elk Grove is funding fares for eligible seniors that ride SacRT fixed-route bus routes that begin or end within the City of Elk Grove (e.g., E110, E111, etc.). This special program is available to Elk Grove residents who are 62 years of age or older. This pilot program is designed to help improve mobility and expand access to essential services for seniors.

New SacRT GO Mobile App Launching Tuesday, May 19, 2026

A new and improved SacRT GO Mobile App will officially launch on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, offering a smoother and more reliable experience for booking and managing your SacRT GO paratransit trips.
 
Riders will be able to begin requesting rides in the new app starting Sunday, May 17, 2026 (up to two days in advance).
 
Ahead of the launch, all eligible riders will receive an email from our app vendor containing a unique setup code required to activate the new app. Please keep an eye on your inbox for this message.
 
Once the app is released, it will be available for download on both iOS and Android devices. Instructions for activating your account and getting started will be included in the email with your setup code.
 
Thank you for your patience as we transition to this improved system—we look forward to bringing you a better SacRT GO experience.

SacRT Bike Rules

Ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey for all.

One Bike Per Rider

Each passenger may bring only one bicycle on board to ensure ample space for all. Failure to comply with this rule could result in criminal citation.

Weight Limit for Motorized Bikes

Motorized bicycles are allowed on the bike rack, provided they do not exceed the 55 lb weight limit. Failure to comply with this rule could result in criminal citation.

Cleanliness and Safety

Your bike should be clean and devoid of any sharp objects that might pose a risk to others.

Stationary Rack Usage and Liability

Lock up your bike at your own risk; SacRT is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to bikes on stationary racks.
