SacRT’s Green Line to the Airport project will extend light rail approximately 13 miles north from downtown Sacramento to the River District, the Natomas communities and the Sacramento International Airport.

SacRT has adopted a Zero-Emission Bus Rollout Plan which will transition SacRT’s bus fleet to 100% zero-emission by 2040.

Dos Rios Light Rail Station
SacRT is preparing to start construction on the future Dos Rios Light Rail Station, located on the Blue Line on North 12th Street between Richards Boulevard and Sunbeam Avenue in Sacramento.

Sacramento Valley Station Relocation Project
SacRT is excited to announce plans to relocate the Sacramento Valley Station (SVS) to a new north-south configuration on the Gold Line.

Watt/I-80 Transit Center Improvement Project
This construction project began July 2024 and includes a variety of improvements that will help create a safer, more accessible environment at one of the region’s largest transit hubs.

Streetcar Project
